With aspirations stretching back to 1991, Idlewild Bridgetown is a story of renewal.

Despite our dream of opening unique cottage stays over 30 years ago, it wasn’t until 2017 that we were in a position to reconnect with it.

We found a great location - a blank canvas that needed quite a bit of work. We began creating a fabulous environment for people to enjoy.

Officially opened in 2021, Idlewild Bridgetown offers a very personalised approach to enriching accommodation that captures the essence of calm and country.

This is our nod to the wonder of the Australian countryside — a place for connection and clarity.
